Make art! Whenever he tries, he just produces a perfect copy of the subject. While that's not a bad thing, he knows there's more to art than that. Can Pintro connect with his creativity and overcome his programming so he can finally paint the way he wants to?

Mauricio Abril (he/him) is an author-illustrator who loves telling stories for kids and kids-at-heart. He illustrated the picture book Robot's Can't Dance and the early readers Yi's Journey Home and Meet Everest, inspired by DreamWorks Animation’s film Abominable, all from Simon & Schuster. He lives in Pasadena, California.
