Steve is a writer and DJ who's run nightclubs, toured with Primal Scream and The Stone Roses, and written reviews for Monocle Books. Michelle Mackintosh is an award-winning book designer, writer and illustrator. She has designed over 100 books ranging from cookbooks and craft books to city guides and diaries. This is Steve and Michelle's sixth book on Japan, most recently following Tokyo Pocket Precincts and Onsen of Japan.
